    Location is excellent. After checking in, we walked to Durango Main Street. Kids were happy that full breakfast included a waffle maker. Front desk gave us ear plugs for sleep, a doggie treat bag, and a bed spread to put on top of the bed for our mini pincher. An extra $30 daily fee for pet stay, was not bad, on top of the $300/night stay. Kids were excited to see the train station rail yard next to the parking lot.

    River view was sublime...we had a hard time leaving the balcony to explore the 10-minute walk to downtown. Room was spacious and clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. EV charging onsite and free. Grocery store (Albertsons) across the parking lot is a plus!

    The hotel is close to downtown Durango, with a short drive or a few minutes walk. It has all the amenities we were looking for. They’re also pet friendly with a fee. A dog park area is easily accessible at the end of the parking lot.

    Excellent location, staff were really nice. Bed was comfortable, nice bathroom. But if you are staying in a “palace suite”, it’s in an adjacent building, not attached to the actual hotel, but across the parking lot. Also had a nice breakfast with hot and cold options. I would stay here again for sure :)
