We needed somewhere to stay between flights and this place was perfect. They have a free shuttle to/from the airport, the rooms are comfortable and have a door that can be opened for fresh air and sunshine. There's also a bath and a fridge in the room. The hotel has a heated outdoor pool, a gym, a bar, wifi, and lots of outdoor seating to chill out, eat, read, or kill time while you're waiting to go to the airport - which they're happy to let you do after check out. There are a bunch of places to get food nearby and a supermarket across the road. The beach at the end of Grand Ave is ~45min walk away.

The room was pretty comfortable. We spend a night after arriving at LAX and having to drive early in the morning. The hotel's location is also a plus, very close to the airport and easy to arrive at. On the minus side, the door opens to the parking lot, and even if the other visitors are fairly quiet, you can hear almost anything from the outside. We may book it again if we need to spend the night only. If we had the stay at the hotel during the afternoon to relax and chill, it might not be the ideal place.
