The staff is nice. The beds and pillows are comfortable. They have a broom and dustpan in the room because you are going to get sand in there. I liked that when I booked for four people, they actually had four sets of towels and I did not have to ask for anymore.

    The location was great. Direct access to the beach and private parking were the best parts about staying here. The staff at the front desk were very friendly and welcoming. The pool was nice with lots of loungers available, but did get crowded fast. I loved the outdoor hammocks.

    Location to the beach is awesome. Easy parking and walking distance. They have showers on site to rinse off before going back to your room. The room was a nice size for a family of 4

    Comfortable room with a balcony overlooking the beautifully kept grounds, and a view through palm fronds to the Atlantic Ocean. It was nice to have a fridge in the room. A cousin who lives nearby came over to enjoy a snacky "girl dinner" with me and it was easy to get a parking permit for her during the time that she visited. Comfy bed and great shower. I made a cappuccino to enjoy on the balcony the next morning, while writing out a shopping list of ingredients to cook dinner for friends in Beaufort the next day.

    Room had lots of natural light. But too little interior lighting. Room size was ample. About 1.5 blocks to the best beach on Emerald Isle. It overlooked the back parking lot but any other view cost much more and was near the noisy pool or overlooked the public parking lot which was much noisier than the one in the back. All the rooms on the first floor of the property had no natural light and seemed quite skimpy.

    I don't even know where to start! The rooms were inviting (we had 2), cozy, clean, and smelled amazing. The beds were so comfortable! As someone who suffers from chronic back pain, I woke up pain free the 2 days we were there, and didn't need to take any pain meds until later in the evenings. Although not technically oceanfront, a short walk through the parking lots and you were at the beach/pier. The local restaurants had amazing food.

    The location is great. The property has a lot of parking space. Easy access to the beach and local to everything you could need. The staff was amazing and helpful. My room was spotless.

    The staff: Super friendly and very helpful (they go above and beyond to make sure that your stay is perfect). The room: Roomy and has everything you need (fridge, microwave, tv’s). The location: Right on the beach, quiet location, plenty of parking). We will go back to the Islander, every year.
