There was a lot of rain before we checked in and arriund the building was like 10cm of water. It was so much fun for the kids. The room was very spacious and they had dryer running inside the room, so all our clothes was dry in the morning.

The small houses are really next to the river, parking lot below each house. Beautiful sunrise view and porch to watch the birds. Just around the corner is a small shop to get some groceries.

My solo stay at the Everglades Chickee Cottage & Bungalow was both enjoyable and peaceful. The surrounding nature is breathtaking, and the night time sounds of the wilderness are truly mesmerizing. The staff was accommodating and helpful, making my stay even more pleasant. The area itself is stunning and perfect for anyone looking to connect with nature. I highly recommend this experience, though I would suggest avoiding August if you are not a fan of the heat.

The Pelicans, actually it was all very good, the name of our accommodation was called sawfish, it had a car port, witch was great for sitting out and relaxing. Very Quiet and clean. All the staff were very welcoming and helpful. The recommendation for the air boat ride company was spot on. ( Everglades City Air Boat Tours ) We had a great ride. They had a room for playing pool and other games, book swap, and coffee making facility's. Before we arrived we stopped at a large store to get things to last us for our time there. So no problem with food etc. everything went very smoothly, we would go there again. Had a fabulous time. Stayed there 29th April - 3rd May 2025. Thanks to all, Jim and June
