Great walkable location to Fruita's small downtown strip. It's a basic motel though, no pool or other amenities. Room on the smaller side but perfect for myself, a bike and some gear. Was pleased with the automated checkin system. Note that this spot is near the train tracks + highway, so you'll probably need some earplugs for sleep. There were plenty of options to choose from at breakfast. Staff is friendly, and the area feels very safe. The field next to the hotel has prairie dogs in it, which were very entertaining to watch. I liked the hard floors (vs carpet), because they just make sense in a town like Fruita where you should be hiking / biking on dirt all day. Ample parking.
