This was by far the best place we stayed in, in a 25-day trip in Washington and Oregon. It was spolingly comfortable and pleasant, and the owner was distinctly friendly and helpful. Large rooms, fully equipped kitchen, spotless cleanliness, and a charming view of Lake Marie. We were very sorry to depart.

This is a hidden gem on the Oregon coast. The staff are all considerate, kind, caring, knowledgable & are committed to meeting the needs of all of their guests. This was just a short trip for me…and it was just what I needed (except it was way too short). I’ve been through some very serious health problems this year & I really missed being able to spend time at the Silver Sands. I want to travel & stay there more often…whenever I’m able. This is definitely a clean, cozy & precious motel & I always feel very blessed to be able to enjoy it. I absolutely love it there!

The Wheeler on the Bay Lodge is a surprisingly perfect location. I was expecting a motel and got a small resort, quiet, serene, beautifully located next to the marina. The rooms are big compared to what you normally get at a motel, very clean (as in VERY), well equipped with functioning appliances. My room had a small deck in the back which was a really nice place to just rest a bit and take in the scenery. They have a dock and you can apparently rent canoes to move around the Nehalem River (which I didn't do), get on a boat for some fishing and while I was having my coffee early in the morning I could see some lucky anglers pull sizeable fish from the river. Bonus points: there is an excellent restaurant right next door, the Salmonberry. Great food you probably wouldn't expect in a place like Wheeler with "al fresco" right on the banks of the Nehalem. Spectacular.

    This was a quaint, cute little hotel that was perfect for our purposes. The bed was comfortable, the amenities perfect for what we needed, and it was close to an amazing restaurant. Definitely eat at Portside Bidtro! I was happy to have our own assigned parking space as well. I'm glad that the rooms had an air conditioner added because we were there for some hot days. The property contacted me and communicated promptly and in detail through text, which was easy and helpful.

    The Harborview Inn is clean, pet friendly, and central to small town hospitality! The local fishermen launch right outside of Inn parking area. I love the activity and visiting with staff, locals and visitors. Walking with my dog is a frequent activity that is varied in scenery, peaceful and camera view safe. Garibaldi offers great food, and driving minutes to Tillamook, Bay City, Barview and Rockaway.
