My wife and I had an amazing couples yoga session with Linda. Excellent breakfast, fresh fruit with waffles bacon and maple syrup. Amazing facilities with a relaxing spa room with sauna and hot tub (I didn't use the hot tub). Good rural location. Linda is a superb hostess and you feel like you are staying with family. Linda will also give you good recommendations about great places to eat and excellent places to visit. Anyone visiting, make sure to get booked in with Linda for yoga and enjoy a good sauna or hot tub!

Our camper lost power so we quickly had to find a place to stay in town. We could not beat the price of this place! It has a nice cozy cabin feel, comfortable bed, very clean, wifi and smart tv. Exceeded our expectations!

My partner and I stayed for 3 wonderful nights whilst attending our sons graduation at the nearby Young Harris College. Having travelled from England we arrived late at night to be greeted by Garrett who was friendly and informative, this I now understand to be the wonderful Southern hospitality everyone mentions which we also experienced from all the reception & Oaks staff, especially the 2 lovely ladies who served us breakfast. (Sorry we didn't get to see you on our last day, we slept in late then had to rush off) Our room was spacious & comfortable, I didn't use the AC as I find it plays havoc with my breathing so opted for the large ceiling fan which was ample for our needs. The bed was so huge you need a sat nav to move around it :) We met a lovely couple in the Oaks bar who mentioned to us that the building will be going through a makeover which is possibly well needed however I had no complaints to make about the decor. We spent quite a lot of time in the gardens and on the pier with beautiful views of the mountains & lake. Overall we had an excellent stay which was possibly one of the finest of my 57 years on this Earth.

    Price is better than other "lodges" or hotels in the area, at least that have a bit of a lake view (but it's quite distant and not at all expansive). Comes with breakfast. 3 minute walk to the Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds (and the Hamilton Rhododendron Gardens) so you don't have to deal with driving there and trying to find parking. Microwave and mini fridge in all the rooms.

    Location. Right next to Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds with a beautiful view of mountains and lake. The common area was nicely furnished and decorated. The continental breakfast had some healthy choices available, including gluten-free. The beds were very comfortable, and there was a back door exit/ entry to the parking lot from our room.

    I love the hotel overlooking the lake from front or back of the hotel. The breakfast met my appetite at that moment. Parking is in a great location from the door. My room had a view of the fairgrounds and lake. The customer service at the hotel was excellent from any shift. I will visit again.

    It's a really cute cabin in a beautiful town. In the house you find everything you may need from coffee and towels, to an amazing porch and easy parking.

    Really nice location, we had a great view on the lake from our room. The AC worked well and room was quite comfortable, not too small. Plenty of parking spaces outside. Hotel personal were really nice. Hot drink /coffee tea all the time available for free in the lobby.
