    Location was great. The parking lot is quite small, was very difficult to find a place to park. Ended up parking at the top of the hill. Room was very clean. Only complaint is the room number sign (212) had obviously fallen off and not been replaced. All the staff was super friendly

    The breakfast alone is worth the stay. The restaurant had delicious food and drinks. Our balcony room had great views of Lake Huron and Mackinac Island. Java Joe's coffee shop is in front of the parking lot for a great coffee when starting your adventures. By the way, this hotel had the best black coffee of any place I've stayed, I'm quite the coffee snob as well. The resort is walking distance to Sheplers ferry, which is a faster ride than from Mackinaw City as a plus. Our room was clean and comfortable.
