The hotel was nicely renovated and all the staff were unbelievably friendly. We really enjoyed the gym. It was very beautiful and clean and felt very updated. The space was comfortable and quiet, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. Be aware that valet parking is $30/night, but was very easy to use, much more than other options nearby. The neighborhood is in transition—it's full of theaters and indie shops, but also pretty empty, especially at night when there's nothing showing at the theaters.
