It is a great spot for relaxing outdoors, and I could see someone having a good time at this spot without even going into King's Canyon. Really good coffee shop attached that had good food and good vibes. Staff was very accessible and friendly to communicate with over text. Easy parking. Wifi quality was decent. The use of their space was creative and comfortable. No "cookie cutter" lodging. We made a request for a first floor accommodation and easy parking for my disabled husband and the room couldn't have worked out better. It was a relatively convenient for visiting Kings Canyon and Sequoia. The welcome with text communication was excellent and the checkin/checkout was flawless.
