The pool looked inviting but wasn't ready for swimming. We enjoyed sitting out on the deck where we could see and hear the creek. Our room was basic but comfortable. The retro 70s decor in the lobby was a little dowdy, but we really liked the planting all through the grounds. Food ok, not great. All the basic amenities. The staff was friendly and helpful. We wound up eating there twice for dinner to avoid driving after dark. The beds were comfortable. The room was tidy and the bathroom was clean. The sink is in the main room, just outside the bathroom, which is convenient when getting ready.
