A fantastic experience. The staff, location, facilities, food, service and having free roaming game on the property far exceeded our expectations. The tours were fantastic and well worth it. The knowledge and interaction from the tour guides were world class. Having management join for meals was memorable especially Stuart and Douglas. Rorkes Drift B&B is ideally located. About 2km from the Rorkes Drift Battlefield and on the road to Isandlwana. We found the rooms delightful, the food delicious (we upgraded to full board) and even did Christmas lunch here. The staff are all local and were very friendly and engaging. Most of all I loved that the B&B is part of Khula Education and the Charles Aikenhead Innovation Hub and all profits go back into uplifting the local community. If you are socially minded and love sustainable non-profits, this is the place for you. Not only is the accommodation and food excellent but the cause is very worthy and I loved being able to play a small part in helping uplift this beautiful community. I would definitely choose Rorkes Drift B & B again.

The staff was very helpful. Japie is a great cook and pays attention to the guest needs. The owners were awesome people and gave me an upgrade!

Everything! The location was stunning the host excellent. We chose the location for its location to Isandlwana and Rorkes Drift. It served that purpose perfectly. Nothing was to much trouble for our host, Brett, he took us on a drive in the evenings to see the local wildlife. Giraffe, Kudu, Zebra to name a few. As well as showing us some Bushman cave drawings. Enjoy being in your own personal valley. An absolute gem!
