As we left, my friend and I commented to each other that it had felt as though we were staying with an incredible and lovely pair of new grandparents. We felt accommodated from the moment we walked in the door until we left. The dinners left us entirely full and we still had food on our plates and every question - including, what fruit is on these trees, was left answered. If you would like to stay somewhere where you feel at home, comfortable and safe - book here. My favourite moment was when the host was knocking on the door opposite ours, telling them that they’d made him lunch (which hadn’t been asked for) to prepare them for the early wake up and trekking day ahead. The hosts are incredibly generous, welcoming and considerate. If you wish to experience feeling like you’ve stumbled on your Albanian grandparents home - they will feed you, house you in a clean and lovely home and welcome you.

The water pressure in the shower was great, the bed was very comfortable, and everything in the room was extremely clean. The underground private parking was especially appreciated for my rental car. I also enjoyed the breakfast. There are many complimentary options that you may choose from on their menu. The hotel’s location is also excellent as it is just off the busy boulevard but still quiet at night. Lastly, I want to mention the friendly staff. They were extremely helpful in ideas for a solo tourist to enjoy while in Shkodër. I would definitely return to this hotel when in this city.

Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a terrace. I'm writing this review for the guest house. My 4 friends and I stayed for 3 nights here and we had an absolutely incredible stay, especially thanks to the staff working there who were always smiling, joking and spreading good vibes. On top of that, the rooms were comfortable, the location couldn't be better and all in all we just had a perfect stay. And don't even get me started on the breakfast buffet. 🔥 Thanks guys! 🫡🇦🇱

Fitted with a terrace, the accommodation offers air conditioning and features a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom with shower. We felt so lucky to discover Mathilda and Aryan’s place on the river near Lake Koman. We originally stopped for just one night before taking the ferry, but easily could have stayed several more. The setting is beautiful, with great hiking trails and a working farm where we enjoyed grapes and fresh produce right from the garden. The pool was perfect for an afternoon dip, and Mathilda and Aryan were such warm and generous hosts. Dinner with them is a must, the food and company made the experience unforgettable. The road getting there was a bit rough, but we just took it slow in our rental car and were fine and it looks like it should be finished in a few months. We’d love to come back and spend more time hiking, especially up to the fortress on the hill behind their house

A continental breakfast is available at Fryma e Bjeshkeve. This was the perfect place to stay in Theth. The room was comfortable and cosy, everything was brand new. Spotlessly clean room and bathroom, very comfortable bed. The owner was very lovely, she prepared us a huge breakfast every morning which was perfect fuel for the hikes we did. I cannot recommend it enough.
