Location, location, location: We had looked for a combination of hotel and winery in walking distance to each other, and this one ticked all the boxes: you can easily walk over to Chateau Tanunda in about 15mins (and others are walkable too, if you don't mind walking 30-40mins). The hotel is part of a pub/restaurant - but the rooms are really surprising: completely new, with a rain shower, quite spacious and quiet (this being a Monday maybe, could be louder on a Friday evening). We also enjoyed the restaurant and a glass of wine on the front porch. There's ample parking in the back. Didn't see any breakfast options, but this was rare on our trip anyways - there's a bakery nearby to help you out.

A stovetop and toaster are also provided, as well as a kettle. Lovely breakfast provisions, plus a nice bottle of wine left for us was a good touch.

On clear days, guests can head outside to enjoy the guest house's outdoor fireplace or simply kick back and relax. Comfortable and spacious accommodation in a peaceful area close to the Barossa. Self check in was easy and we enjoyed the provisions supplied for breakfast.
