The air-conditioned bed and breakfast consists of 3 bedrooms, 2 living rooms, a fully equipped kitchen with an oven and a coffee machine, and 1 bathroom with a walk-in shower and bathrobes. Towels and bed linen are featured in the bed and breakfast. The property has an outdoor dining area. Kooringa was a beautiful comfortable cottage with a lovely host called Arlene. There was absolutely everything we needed for a great stay. The bed was very comfortable with electric blankets plus a split system in the bedroom as well as the loungeroom so we were toasty warm. The shower was also great, roomy, spotless and with little extras including a shower cap, electric heater, hair dryer etc Arlene also provided cereal, bread, butter, condiments, milk and juice for a nice breakfast and the bread was so nice we had 4 pieces each. There were so many extras including local information, magazines and books to read and when we had a shower there were comfy robes to put on. The entire home was spotless and the gardens were also lovely and it would have been nice to have had more time to sit and relax. We will definitely stay again next time we are travelling through Burra.

Guests can make use of the picnic area or the barbecue, or enjoy views of the mountain and garden. Very comfortable house with beautiful views over the vineyards. The house itself was generously equipped with breakfast provisions and wine. The beds were very comfortable and the whole ambience was very restful. The pool was a hit with the grandchildren, but the evenings were still cool enough for a cosy fird.

The property offers bike hire and features a garden and outdoor fireplace. It was within walking distance of many restaurants and shops. It was very private. The host lent us a cutting board and some paper plates/ napkins to use at our picnic. The foods left for breakfast ( bacon, eggs, bread, butter, jam, cereal, milk) were very welcome!
