Local shops, cafes and restaurants and the visitor information centre are within walking distance. The room was great, so the bathroom with the jacuzzi! And the patio with the ocean view also better. Everything was so good, we had a great experience in Apollo Bay.

Cape Otway Lightstation offers a variety of accommodation options, including the Lightkeepter's B&B suites or the fully self-contained Lighthouse Lodge. The Lightstation Studio has stunning views of the light station from your room. Where to start... ? It was the most wonderful experience. A stunning setting (the Studio has a particularly good view of the lighthouse from the day bed at the front). So peaceful in the evening and marvelous NOT to have emails/phone etc to disturb the peace and tranquility of the setting on a beautiful autumn evening. Given the limitation of an historic building the studio provided excellent and very comfortable accommodation with a charm quite unique. A perfect breakfast of muesli, toast, marmalade (delicious) etc was provided on a linen covered tray, with teas, coffee and milk all available. Wallabies grazing in the evening and early morning... what more....? It was simply magical.
