The location is quiet and a bit remote, which we loved. There are only five or six cabins on the property, and they are very spread out, so you have a lot of privacy. The views are amazing, the wildlife plentiful, and the cabin is very well thought out with lovely touches. We made sure to come back to the cabin well before sunset after exploring the amazing island, just to make sure we had plenty of time to enjoy the cabin, the surroundings, and once the sun started getting lower on the horizon, take in the views from the deck with the many kangaroos and wallabies who came right around the cabin. We also absolutely loved having the sauna with the picture window, and used it both nights. And, the night sky is truly amazing with absolutely no light pollution. All in all, a very special and memorable stay. Highly recommended.

The views from the room are just spectacular - seeing the sunrise and moonrise over the bay is just breathtaking. Super quiet area with koalas and kangaroos on/around the property! Apartment was incredibly clean with everything you would need provided. It's a 15 minute drive to Kingscote and given collision risk to wildlife at night, we took takeaway dinners on our way back before dusk every evening and ate on the little front patio watching the moon rise over the bay - incredibly peaceful and relaxing. Easy to access any part of the island from here including the national park. Thank you to our hosts for a wonderful stay - would highly recommend! Stay here for your KI holiday.

Sue was communicative about the location and the directions to get the key for the house. The house has an incredible view of the bay. It’s located in a nice neighborhood with tons of wildlife. We saw at least five koalas swaying in the trees nearby. And one night we saw a ton of kangaroos. Echidnas and gorgeous birds can be seen too. The property has a nice and easy bbq to use. And we were able to do a load of laundry and air dried our clothes. I even took a picture of the clothes drying on the line with the bay in the background because it was such a beautiful setting. There’s a dryer too in case line drying isn’t realistic. The kitchen is huge and has all the pots and pans and lots of supplies. We had a great time!

On a cliff top overlooking a most excellent beach and the sea. In fact, in our opinion, we would say that this is the best beach on the island. Sad that we couldn't stay longer. As a bonus, this area is a hangout for over 40 friendly kangaroos and a small mob of sheep. So much fun to see.

The atmosphere at this property is created by the lovely owners! Dhea is so welcoming and lovely, she made me feel so safe although I was hitting a rough spot during my solo travel, so thank you for that! The food is amazing, if you like fresh seafood, you just need to try their menu! The rooms are new, quiet and have a lovely view.
