Boutique hotel 1898 The Post offers accommodation in an iconic, historical building in the heart of Ghent. It is situated in the former post office.

The hotel has 38 rooms and suites that are decorated elegantly with antique furniture. They also feature high ceilings or sloped roofs. All rooms & suites offer views of the city, king-size beds, free WiFi, modern technology and luxury amenities. Everything was perfect, wish I would have booked a little longer.

He was informative and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Great size room, breakfast was lovely. Roo. Had everything we could need. Great location for town.

Featuring a shower cabin, the private bathroom also comes with free toiletries. All rooms offer a river view. Bed was super comfy. Sven was a great host and guide to Ghent. Breakfast was superb with lovely breads. We will return to Ghent and stay in boatel again!

Public transport stop Korenmarkt is a 5-minute walk. Grand Hotel Reylof is a 10-minute walk from both the House of Alijn and Saint Bavo's Cathedral. Cleythil is located outside Maldegem, a 20-minute drive from historic Bruges and 30 minutes' drive from Ghent and the North Sea beach. The garden offers views of the Drongengoed forests and fields.

Hotel Cleythil has free parking facilities, meeting facilities and a bike rental service to explore the surrounding area. The North Sea beaches of the Belgian Coast are a 30-minute drive away. I have stayed at this hotel several times and have always been satisfied. The hotel is in a very convenient location, it is cozy and clean, the staff are helpful and friendly, there is ample parking at the hotel, and the breakfast is delicious. I would definitely stay here again.

This luxurious family-run hotel in the Patershol District of Ghent offers rooms in 2 historic buildings and benefits from a free heated swimming pool. It is located 100 metres from the Gravensteen Castle and a 10-minute walk from Saint Bavo’s Cathedral. The room was incredible. The beds were beyond comfy, even the sofa folding bed. The location was perfect! Staff so friendly, and the breakfast was great! Also, the heated pool was such a plus. I was traveling with my 8 and 10 year old granddaughters and none of us was ready to leave!

We had an absolute amazing time: The room was amazing, the location is perfect and the staff is super nice! We spent a couple of nights there on our honeymoon and if we get back again to Ghent, this hotel will be our go-to!
