Owner was very helpful in providing loads of useful information for planning our Huangshan 3-day-2-night hike up to Bright Peak, 2nd highest summit on Huangshan and down. Walking distance to visit Emerald Pools and complimentary shuttle to Nine Dragon Waterfalls.

The staff is very helpful, they arranged a shuttle for us to get to the hotel for a very reasonable price and also helped us hire a car to see different venues. They were also very friendly, kind and did everything they could to help us have a great stay. On the first day, they showed us a map with different trails on the mountain and what can we do up there.

Tastefully decorated, it houses a restaurant and accommodation with free WiFi access. Location is fantastic, right next to the entrance to the scenic area. The staff were very warm, welcoming and thoughtful, gave us tonnes of tips on how to best enjoy the yellow mountains and even a massage gun after we came down! Amenities were very plentiful - they offer everything you could possibly want from a hotel. The room was very comfortable and modern with voice controlled curtains and a very fancy bathroom. Breakfast was delicious. They also offer free rain ponchos and walking sticks to help with the hike.

She cooked us delicious and hearty breakfasts every morning, provided us with rides to the mountain entrance, and even drove us to local restaurants for dinner. Her recommendations for the best local places to eat and buy authentic Huangshan tea were invaluable. The accommodation itself was fantastic. We had a very comfortable, large bed and a stunning panoramic view of the mountains from our window. A real highlight was the private jacuzzi in the room – perfect for relaxing after a day of hiking. The guesthouse also has a lovely, friendly cat that was a delight to come home to. The location is peaceful and about a 20-minute walk from the city center, where you can find numerous restaurants and shops. We would recommend this place 10/10 without any hesitation. The only very minor downside was that the room was a little chilly at times, but it was a small price to pay for such an otherwise flawless experience. We can't wait to return!

The owner comes from Austria and his Chinese wife can speak fluent English and German, giving me a lot of travel advice here. In addition, the chef here can not only make very authentic Anhui cuisine, but also very authentic German cuisine. Roast pork elbow is especially recommended! This could totally be a vacation destination! Not only a sleeping-place. Staying in the hotel is already a great experience! I’ll come back.
