I booked a night's stay at the hotel and owing to the prompt and effective communication with the owner, Mr. Ahmed, I ended up arranging a 2-day trip from Cairo (and back) to visit the White Desert and Bahariya Oasis with pitstops at Black mountain, Crystal mountain and the lake at Bahariya. The trip was very well arranged as the car, the driver and the experiences exceeded my expectations. Farafra is far and remote but we felt very safe at the hotel and staying close to the desert meant that we got more time to witness the magnificent beauty of the desert without camping or taking a long drive back to Bahariya/Bawiti after dark. The hotel itself was clean and very suitable for a night's stay. The staff was considerate to prepare food as per our dietary preferences. Overall, if one has time for a long drive from Cairo, I recommend arranging the stay and the trip with Rahala Safari Hotel to enjoy the wonders of the white desert.

There is free private parking and the property provides paid airport shuttle service. It was the most sensational accommodation we had in Egypt. For Egypt, I appreciate the exceptional accommodation conditions, but at the same time the rooms are very creatively decorated. They combines a stone age look with the luxury of today. We had extreme quietness, we rested very well. The service staff was extremely attentive to us and the dinner and breakfast were varied, local cuisine, delicious.
