But none - I repeat none - were unruly or misbehaving in any way and there was no smell or mess that might be expected.

The George Hotel's historic exterior hides modern interiors and facilities. I’ve stayed at The George many times and cannot fault any aspect of the hotel. The rooms are fabulous, clean, & superbly appointed. The staff are amazing, friendly, helpful, with customer service at the forefront. The breakfast is amazing, and I can’t think of a better place to stay. Brilliant service and fabulous value for money. I can’t recommend this hotel highly enough.

Dartmoor and Exmoor national parks can both be reached in less than an hour’s drive. The property also has more than 8 acres of landscaped grounds for guests to enjoy. A magical place. Beautiful location with wonderful staff.

This recently renovated bed and breakfast is located 27 km from Newton Abbot Racecourse and 14 km from Powderham Castle. Riviera International Centre is 38 km from the bed and breakfast and Totnes Castle is 44 km away. Location was perfect for us, on a nice quiet street with good parking, just steps away from the University campus. Owner friendly, flexible and fast to address all of our requests. The property is an old traditional house, preserving a lot of features. Room very spacious and decorated in line with the period of the house and well kitted with everything, including a mini-fridge and a mobile heater. Good internet! Very big bathroom, fitted with both shower and bathtub and with a generous selection of lotions and bath soaks. The breakfast had a good variety of food, a cold-buffet type, with a range of teas and coffees. All self-serving, just make-your-own.

The property has garden and quiet street views, and is 20 km from Westward Ho!. The property offers allergy-free units and is set 3 km from Mouthmill Beach. Very welcoming and in the best part of the Village. The garden was immaculate and so peaceful and perfect to sit and enjoy this surrounding area.

My wife is a light sleeper and had the best sleeps so far of our UK trip.

Fantastic location - pleasantly situated opposite a park, but within walking distance of town centre and all amenities. Also, I was able to wash and dry my clothes.
