On clear days, guests can head outside to enjoy the campground's outdoor fireplace or simply kick back and relax. Lauren and Jamie couldn’t have made the caravan more cosy or welcoming. There were even some of their Hens freshly laid eggs for me, as well as loads of other nice little touches. The location is a superb base to explore Skye and the surrounding islands and has a stunning view.

This recently renovated campground is located 23 km from Eilean Donan Castle and 26 km from Museum of the Isles. The campground has private entrance. I enjoyed the rustic aspect of staying in an equipped cabin that had a great view and was connected to nearby amenities. I appreciated the fresh milk and beer treats.

Guests can make use of outdoor furniture if they wish to dine or sit outside. Breakfast was not included, however Bernadette made fresh muffins which she left out for us, as well as water bottles. In our room we had access to a kettle and coffee/tea to make on our own. There was porridge and biscuits and a small fridge - to keep foods that we brought cold. The view was beautiful - sheep and water on a sloping view from Bernadette's home. We enjoyed this from the patio in front of the home, Bernadette and her family were lovely and welcoming.
