The best host in the world (Yannis) met us from the port and drove us (1 minute around the corner) to the property. Property was soo unique and amazing. Private hot tub on the terrace. The bathroom was beautiful. Location to port, shops and a few restaurants, vehicle hire and stony beach was perfect. Yannis very kindly took us on a guided tour of the island and was always available to help us out whenever we needed something. The man is a legend.

Restaurants and mini markets can be found just a short walk away. The port of Folegandros lies within 500 metres from Onar Suites & Villas, while Folegandros Town is at a distance of 3 km. Agkali Village is 7 km away and Ano Meria can be reached within 8 km. Free public parking can be found nearby. Home cooked breakfast each morning to your room was brilliant. Views from our room were amazing, including watching the sun rise each morning. Petros the owner was also extremely friendly and would help with any questions you may have. Short car or bus ride into the main town which is filled with cafes and restaurants. Walking distance to other restaurants and bar near beach which were also very good.

The rooms were spacious and spotless! The daily breakfast was a lovely treat. The host was very helpful and welcoming. We didn't want to leave!

With a bar, the 2-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, each with a private bathroom. The accommodation offers room service, free shuttle service and luggage storage for guests. The hotel was up to standard very clean and good location just few mins walk to Chora. Transport from Port to Hotel and back was a bonus for free. The sandy beach of Agali is 1.5 km away, while the port of Karavostasis is at 3 km. Within 300 metres, you will find a bus stop. Restaurants, mini markets and bars are located 200 metres away. Free Wi-Fi throughout and free private parking are provided. Location, views, pool, walking distance to town with lots of restaurants, shops etc. free transfer to and from port which was much appreciated, very friendly staff, change of towels and bed linen every day. Breakfast available. A walk up to the monastery are a must do as the views are exceptional it only takes about 15/20 mins to walk to the top.

What makes Ampelos exceptional are the hosts Areti and Theo, they make you feel very welcome and genuinely care you are have a good time at the hotel and on the beautiful island of Folegandros. It feels like you are visiting friends.
