We stayed in a private room for about 2 weeks while doing a paragliding course. It’s also very social and the volunteers, Rishi and Mai, are the a lot of fun and always down for a bonfire, card games or a chat. I can definitely recommend dormigo to anyone lucky enough to find themselves in Bir. It’s also right next to the deer institute for anyone interested in enrolling in a course there.

The units in the accommodation are equipped with a flat-screen TV and slippers. The location was perfect, little away from all the chaos. I could hear the sound of river and the sunrise in the morning was amazing. There is a sitting area right on the edge from where I could enjoy the flow of water and morning sunrays as well. I loved interacting with the Host Divye who helped me explore other parts of Kasol too. If you are looking for some time off in nature then this is definitely the place to be.

The property is very clean, and the staff ensure that it is well maintained throughout the day. There is ample space in the common areas to socialise with other travellers both inside and on the balcony. The terrace has clothes lines to dry laundhry if needed. Rooms are clean and organised. The location of the property is great as it’s walking distance from landing site for paragliding, the main cafe street and also some nice hikes. The best part of your stay is the host, Raman, who is super helpful and welcoming. A well travelled person himself, he is always happy to make recommendations as to what to see and do, not just in Bir but the whole of India! I felt very safe and at home and he answered any query or question I had, always with a smile on his face. I enjoyed my stay so much I came back again for a second time, and am sure if I’m in Bir again, would stay here again :)
