(including soy sauce for us Asians!) of the 3 nights we stayed here, we had a whole day of snow and so we just stayed in and watched tv (we really needed the downtime), and saw aurora right from the balcony one of those nights. the rooms a bit small but overall still comfortable and nice, and considering we largely hung out at the common area this really wasn't any issue. birkilauf was HANDS DOWN our #1 accoms in iceland and i will be recommending all my friends to stay here!
