The harbor (for whale watching) is just five minutes away, and the local brewery Húsavík Öl is also within walking distance. Just a tip: the local grocery store closes quite early, so keep that in mind if you're arriving late.

At the guest house, the units include a shared bathroom. EVERYTHING! Perfect location. Ingvar, our host is very quick to respond to my queries and very informative. His home is beautifully set up. Everything we needed was provided. Wifi is excellent. Bunos that there's a laundry ( both washer & dryer) available. Our room was spacious & clean. Whole house was clean. Such a shame we were only there for 1 night. Would've loved to enjoy more of the view whilst having a meal. Hopefully we can come back again.
