Right in the heart of Florence's shopping district and surrounded by history and art. We loved it, it was so elegant, nice to find a touch of glamour as so many modern hotels are rather dull. La Gemma delivers 5* quality from dawn to dusk. Nothing is too much trouble the staff are amazing, especially Gian Luca the hospitality manager, and Boldo the mixologist, made incredible cocktails for us. The food was out of this world, truly worthy of a Michelin* in my opinion. Beautifully presented plates and sleek service in the beautifully designed restaurant LUCA's. Even breakfast was a gourmet affair, with everything cooked fresh to order from an impressive menu, they catered for my gluten-free diet brilliantly. I had the best Eggs Benedict on the planet. All in all, La Gemma personifies Florence...glamorous, and beautiful, where one visit is never enough. We will be back.

The staff were very helpful and service-oriented, providing us with a lot of useful information. The location couldn't be better, as it is within walking distance to the center. The rooms were clean and very spacious. We got upgraded to the suite, which was delightful. Overall, it was a very nice experience, and we would love to visit again in the future.

Nina helped us get to the parking garage and back the next day during the market and all the people at the desk were so friendly and happy and kind. They are absolute gems! You are fortunate to have them. Nina is honestly the face of the brand !and she, along with everyone else was always happy to help with a beautiful smile. What a fabulous staff you have. We were even upgraded in our room for the night. It gave us so much more space. The rooms were generous, the bathroom was fantastic, the staff absolutely amazing. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
