From the private onsen, Aesop products in the bathroom, fully stocked fridge everyday (all complimentary), huge and extra comfortable beds and incredible Japanese breakfast. We loved every second of our stay in Kanazawa and were so glad to add an extra night.

Location was great as it was right in the Higashi Chaya district but on the quieter side so it wasn’t too crowded. About 15 min walk to Kenrokuen / Kanazawa Castle, and 3 min walk to the nearest bus stop. Room was clean and new, and we loved the fact that we could stay in a historical district in a historical building with traditional designs, but still get to enjoy modern facilities. There was also a welcome snack of Japanese wagashi which was a nice touch! Concierge speaks good English.

Owner is a fantastic guy who went out of his way to make our stay memorable - highly recommended

Beautiful traditional details including tatami mats, screen doors & a tranquil inner garden; paired with modern comforts — gorgeous bathroom and bed. The hoast was incredible, giving great restaurant recommendations & serving the most delicious breakfasts every morning. We loved this stay and will certainly be back.

Can recommend going by the mall close by and getting fluffy japanese pancakes at the Happy Pancake cafe nearby 😁 The contact-less check in there was super easy. The apartment was super, big nice bath, a kitchen with fridge and freezer and a big sink, a decent sized bedroom with three beds, perfect for us three women, and a livingroom with a big tv.
