LOTS of restaurants nearby. Very clean room, and modern looking. I absolutely loved the bathroom which featured both a shower and a bath. Very cool for our 2 year old. Breakfast was delicious and featured a mix of Japanese and western style food. Staff was amazing and very helpful and spoke excellent English. One of the most pleasant hotels I’ve ever been too! Would come again !!

Lovely onsens, both private and public, are avaliable without reservation, you can wear traditional and cosy japanese-style bathrobes and try free of charge evening's soup and icecreams. The staff is always ready to help and polite. We felt a taste of Japan there, even if we were just to stay in the hotel and not to see the cultural heritage of Kyoto! Highly recommended place!

Excellent cozy beds and a wonderfully roomy and powerful rain shower.

This is our second stay at Emion Kyoto, and like the last time it was perfect. - Location: located only 1 station from the central Kyoto Station, which made our travel very convenient. Walkway with roof directly connects to the train station. Quiet neighborhood. - There are several restaurants in the building. We tried 3 of them and all are very good. - 7Eleven next to building. - Neighborhood coin laundry 7 minute walk away. - Decent sized room, very clean. Comfy beds. Clean bathroom with bathtub. - Breakfast is really good. There were a lot of choices and great quality. We enjoyed the breakfast very much! - The staffs were very friendly and helpful, always with smiles.
