I stayed in Japan for a month, and my one night stay here is an absolute stand out moment in the trip. From arriving at the island and sending off our luggage with the shuttle to being dropped off at the ferry by the shuttle on our last day. Every interaction with the team was friendly and professional. I think it's absolutely worth spending a little extra to get the open air bath with a view, soaking in the views while soaking in the tub was extraordinary.

We paid for the dinner buffets which had lots of great dishes

Located right in front of Miyajima Aquarium and a 5-minute walk from Itsukushima Shrine's exit, Mizuhasou offers accommodations in a modern yet traditional décor. Free Wi-Fi is available at the entire building. Miyajima Ferry Terminal is a 15-minute walk away. Food was amazing, very generous amount. Baths were lovely, beds comfy and staff helpful and pleasant. We loved our stay and would recommend to anyone going to Miyajima.

Featuring 2-star accommodation, Yamaichi Bekkan is set in Miyajima, 2.3 km from Tsutsumigaura Beach and 700 metres from Five Storey Pagoda. There is an on-site restaurant, plus free private parking and free WiFi are available. The ryokan features family rooms. The staff were extremely friendly and caring. It felt like we were at a grandmas place, all in the good way. The food was delicious and it is very convenient located. I strongly recommend!

Bettei Fujiya features a hot spring bath and free private parking, and is within 26 km of Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park and 26 km of Atomic Bomb Dome. The accommodation features a spa bath and a private open-air bath. The accommodation offers a sauna, free WiFi throughout the property and family rooms. The room was very clean, spacious by Japanese standards, and offered serene traditional atmosphere blended seamlessly with modern conforms. There was a terrace with a beautiful view adding on to the comfort of the room. The dinner was traditional Japanese-style and for sure it should not be missed! The multi-course kaiseki meal was beautifully presented and very delicious, including fresh, local, seasonal ingredients. The hotel's location is good for visiting the Itsukushima Torii (Water gate) as it is just one station away from it but at the same time away from the madness of the island.
