The rooftop onsen was excellent - it had a beautiful view of Matsuyama city, different soaking areas (outdoor and indoor with spa bubbles) and felt pretty private.

There is also bag delivery service which would deliver the bag to the next accomodation after temple 12, so that you need not to take the heavy luggage to climb the mountain.

We loved the location, the cleanliness, the host communication and especially things like the small touches - fresh local orange juice, fresh local sorbets and more. The bathroom had wonderful shower and bath with great pressure. We could not fault it for a lovely stay in Ainan.

The room was immaculately clean and spacious and was well equipped with amenities and cooking equipment. The view from the room and the huge balcony was beyond stunning. Would highly recommend staying here, and already have to many people! Would definitely stay here again and wish we had been able to stay longer.
