First, I can’t imagine a better location to the two key sites, the most famous being Lions Rock. When we arrived we immediately felt cared for, safe and comfortable. The grounds are an oasis of tropical plants and the pool was a welcome respite from the heat. Our beds were just the right firmness and the rooms were very specious and clean. The staff is very responsive and helped us in numerous way have a great visit to the Sigiriya surroundings. I learned from a driver how the owner cares for his team, helping them financially when times were bad during COVID and other problems in the country. Absolutely stellar experience.

You can get to Sigiriya and Pidurangala rock within abour 10-15 min by car or tuktuk. The breakfast that the owners cooked for us was one of the best meals we had during our whole trip.
