Breakfast was varied and delicious. We joined several excursions with them and had unforgettable experiences: manta rays, whale shark, nurse sharks, fish banks, and turtles — all organized with professional guides who took us to the best spots (whether close or far from the reef), always with respect for the environment and the animals. We also joined a fishing trip and had the chance to eat the fresh fish we caught, grilled on the beach at a BBQ — thanks to Ibrahim’s skills, it was honestly the best fish we’ve ever eaten! Highly recommended for anyone looking for an authentic and caring Maldivian experience.

The rooms were well decorated and the outdoor shower feature was also remarkable. The restaurant at the hotel run by the two Sri Lankan chefs provided delicious food.

My room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. The added bonus was the international charger, which made it easy to charge my phone and devices. There is also a local shop nearby, and the beach is within a short walk. The manager also assisted with speed boat transfers and was happy to share his knowledge about the island, including the best spots for snorkeling.

We loved our stay at Fairytale in - it is inthe perfect, secluded spot for a peaceful stay on Thoddoo. Dilyana and her team were very friendly and helpful, and kept the place spotlessly clean. The location is a few minutes walk from the gorgeous Sunrise Beach and the town centre with plenty of eating options within a couple of minutes walk, but we really loved taking advantage of the bikes to explore the whole island. Would wholeheartedly recommend!
