We were warmly greeted as family and shown to a huge,  spotless and magnificent room. Our host’s son in law is the chef who prepared a flawless Char koey tiaw, the essential local dish of noodles fresh bean sprouts and prawns, for our dinner, along with a delicious Lai  chi kang, a fruity drink we’ve never sampled before, home made by our hostess.  Our hosts took us out to a local Chinese breakfast place to eat like a local and everyone could not have been more congenial!  There’s a lovely pool also. The place is a bit isolated outside of town, which makes it a quiet respite from the hubbub of Kota Baru. We had the best sleep of our trip here!

We went there when the flood was about to hit Kelantan and alhamdulillah the accommodation did not have any issue (as in no flood)but one of the road was closed due to the rise of water. The host is very helpful when we asked him alternative road instead! If the next future we are going to Kota Bharu again, we would definitely considering this homestay again! The wifi and netflix are all functioning, cleanliness of the house superb (10/10) and yeah, overall it was a great stay!
