The Iberostar Selection Miraflores was a wonderfully comfortable place to spend time in Lima. The views to the shore were spectacular. The hotel is impeccably maintained, nicely appointed, and in a convenient (if touristy) location for walking. Daniel at the front desk was very helpful in getting us both checked in and out. Our arrival time in Lima put us at the hotel hours before the standard check in time, but they were kindly able to accommodate an early check in. We departed the city on a red-eye; again the front desk staff were kindly able to help us store our luggage for the entire day after we checked out. The in-hotel restaurants were great options for both food and drinks.

The hotel has a security gate so that people can't just walk in, which is good.

The breakfast was great and delicious (with eggs, breads, juices, yogurts, fresh fruit, home made jam, cereals - lots to choose from) and the lobby serves free tea, coffee and water all day. Location was great too; walking distance from many places in MIraflores and a block away from a supermarket. We stayed for two nights and then came back for another two after our trip to northern Peru.
