Dumitrita was the most kind and lovely person, helping me with my luggage, getting food ordered from a nearby restaurant for dinner, having a delicious breakfast spread ready in the morning, and suggesting options for spending the day in the region. The large bay window of the domes look out on a forested hillside which were changing color during my fall visit. Getting into Piatra Niemsț takes less than 10 minutes, but an intervening mountain ridge makes it feel very secluded. All in all, a fantastic mountain retreat.

We found good restaurants and bars nearby. it was very quiet at night and the air con was good. Free parking onsite was very convenient. Would be an excellent base for exploring this interesting and less-visited part of Romania.
