Great shower with plenty of hot water, good pressure, and very comfortable bed. Due to the May Day holiday the kitchen was not open. There is another pizza restaurant down the street that was open so we were able to get dinner and drinks. It was a bit disappointing that we were unable to take advantage of the amenities of the property. We travel by bicycle and were disappointed to not be able to get any food at the local grocery store either due to it being closed. I would recommend this property.

Skerlj is a historic wine estate which goes back six generations to 1788; our room was cosy and full of character with beautiful old furniture. Delicious breakfasts with homemade eggs, local jams and honeys etc. Mirjana gave us some excellent recommendations for dinner both nights. A lovely place to wind down and enjoy the atmosphere with the friendly cats and elderly dog. Thoroughly recommended, we can’t wait to return!
