The buffet was excellent, really hit the spot! The laundry room was a plus and I was able to get a load done using the detergent available at the facility. The courtyard is small but picturesque with a koi pond. The gym isn't big but seemed clean and well maintained. The complimentary shuttle to the high speed rail was convenient and on time. Just make sure to reserve it ahead of time since ours was almost at capacity. Although I was comfortable communicating in Mandarin, staff was able to communicate with English. Everyone I interacted with (front desk, host at the restaurant, waiter, janitorial, driver) was pleasant and helpful. I felt that when they saw me struggle with something, they jumped in to offer assistance even if it was not their job.

The air-conditioned accommodation is 28 km from MRT Tucheng Station. The homestay has family rooms. By far the nicest accommodation we stayed in during our trip to Taiwan. The historical house in a beautiful part of Daxi has been lovingly and thoughtfully modernised by the hosts. Wonderfully comfortable in every way. The lovely lady who hosts the home stay is extremely kind and generous. She made sure we had everything we needed and is full of great tips and information about Daxi. Daxi itself is definitely worth a visit - it’s an architecturally beautiful and fascinating place to wander.

We stayed in one of the campers, and it was really cozy and comfortable. The bathroom was surprisingly large as well. Breakfast was quite simple but dinner was exceptional. We had a 7 course meal of really delicious food for $300 NT per person. I highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting Lalashan.
