The buffet was excellent, really hit the spot! The laundry room was a plus and I was able to get a load done using the detergent available at the facility. The courtyard is small but picturesque with a koi pond. The gym isn't big but seemed clean and well maintained. The complimentary shuttle to the high speed rail was convenient and on time. Just make sure to reserve it ahead of time since ours was almost at capacity. Although I was comfortable communicating in Mandarin, staff was able to communicate with English. Everyone I interacted with (front desk, host at the restaurant, waiter, janitorial, driver) was pleasant and helpful. I felt that when they saw me struggle with something, they jumped in to offer assistance even if it was not their job.

Right in the middle of Daxi old street, beautifully refurbished, with incredible care and attention to detail. The landlady was warm, friendly and enthusiastic, and the environment was simply beautiful. We felt very relaxed and at home.

We stayed in one of the campers, and it was really cozy and comfortable. The bathroom was surprisingly large as well. Breakfast was quite simple but dinner was exceptional. We had a 7 course meal of really delicious food for $300 NT per person. I highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting Lalashan.

Rooms have a flat-screen TV with cable channels. The room was big, there was private garage for each unit and the check-in and check-out process was convenient. Although the check-in lady did not speak English, we managed because I knew some Chinese to get by. There is a nice little noodle shop across the road and a couple of convenience shops nearby. Good for a one-night stopover.
