Being just off Centreline Road it’s handy for the bus, and there is access to a path network a little further up the road. With a little planning I got to most places I wanted to go by bus and/or on foot. (If that's not your thing, you need to hire a car, taxis don’t cruise that road like they do the North shore).

We were right on the beach and had a beautiful view of palm trees and the ocean. We had everything we needed in the room (kitchen, great TV, comfortable furniture), and we could walk into town or to the market to get what we needed. Plus, we could do laundry for free if we needed clean clothes.

We enjoyed the snorkel tour since we went to snorkel places we couldn't get to using our jeep.

Bethany House - IMMACULATE OCEAN VIEWS Above the Westin Resort - Large Deck is a recently renovated apartment in Cruz Bay, where guests can make the most of its private beach area and casino. This property offers access to a balcony, free private parking and free WiFi. The accommodation features a shuttle service, while a car rental service is also available. From inside and out on the deck it was very peaceful and clean and I came there to rest & relax 💐so I was very very happy there.. Sonia the internet / by the phone manager ( Sonny👏💐👏) lined up a driver for me for my trip around the island and also to get back to the ferry to catch my plane for at the end of my stay. They had a nice beach towel and everything I needed & the Westin was seriously just a slow 10 minute walk downhill to be on the beach lounge chair & have a great meal from the Beachside Restaurant 🌴 that's what I did and it was perfect for my stay on St John 😎 "Sonny" was so helpful and assuring me on all my important questions & concerns ...💐 thank you Sonny 🌞

This apartment has 1 bedroom, a kitchenette with a microwave and a fridge, a flat-screen TV, a seating area and 1 bathroom fitted with a shower. For added privacy, the accommodation features a private entrance. We stayed in the Papaya unit and would definitely stay here again. The unit was spacious, clean, and had an excellent view. The extra touches, like beach towels and chairs and a cooler, were so unexpected and very much appreciated. Check in and check out were simple too. I would warn future guests to be ready for the steep roads of St John. We had a small SUV and had no problems, but these hills are way past what I'm used to driving. Just take it slow and you'll be fine. There's even parking on site, which is a big deal on St John.
