This property is superb in all regards. The hosts, Elza and Albert, are gracious, welcoming, and ever so helpful. We just returned from almost 3 weeks in South Africa, staying in a number of guest houses. Riverside was our most enjoyable stay. We regretted not having booked a longer stay at this wonderful establishment. The attention to detail in all matters of the accommodation are quite remarkable, really. This is a must stay when in the Outdshoorn/George area. The breakfast room and fare were very upscale without feeling stuffy. Food was delicious!

There is a private entrance at the bed and breakfast for the convenience of those who stay. The bed and breakfast has family rooms. Very central, easy access to the restaurants. The breakfast served was so beautifully presented with an excellent variety of delicious eats. The cherry on the top was the homemade banana bread packaged to have later as padkos.
