Uji Ftohte Tepelene is an exceptional, first rate property. The views are stunning. The rooms and common spaces were all excellent. Breakfast is over the top...basically anything and everything on the menu is available, and however much you want of all of it.

Very clean and spacious room, the balcony has a fantastic view over the gorgeous Ceraunian mountains, the beach is so close to the hotel you can jump on one leg backwards and get to the water in less than 2 minutes(!), amazing, the breakfast was nutritious and delicious, served with an amazing Albanian mountain tea, the service and hospitality of the owner Tony made you feel very welcomed. It’s very clear that everyone in the staff put their heart and soul into the establishment, 10/10 I highly recommend you stay here during your visit to beautiful Himarë!

Zhulat is a small mountain village that offers a truly authentic Albanian experience — you’ll likely be the only tourists or foreigners there. It’s hard to put into words what we experienced in the home of Fatmir and Fjona. If you’re seeking the real Albania, far from tourist resorts, this is the place for you. Here, you’ll encounter true Albanian hospitality. The house has belonged to Fatmir’s family for generations — their son is the 10th generation to live here. It’s a traditional stone house with a beautiful garden, full of history and decorated in authentic Albanian style. Each morning, Fjona prepares a rich and delicious breakfast made from local and homegrown ingredients. The garden is simply stunning — and much of what you eat comes directly from it. We were invited to a traditional Albanian dinner prepared by Fjona — homemade and full of local flavors. The next day, they even welcomed us for a delicious lunch. Staying here wasn’t just about accommodation — it was about connection, and a deep experience of real Albanian life. The place is calm and quiet, surrounded by mountains, with a refreshing river nearby. Gjirokastër is only about 30 minutes away. Fatmir and Fjona are warm, welcoming, and truly kind hosts. When we return to Albania, we will definitely come back to this place.

That is an example of Albanian Hospitality! You feel like visiting your aunt. That feeling is unforgettable! Clean room, new bedding and SUPER breakfast (with fresh goat milk!)! We also asked for a lunch and that was wanderfull! Besides there is a fridge in the room with drinks. Try this experience and taste real Albania! I had a really nice stay in Colette’s comfort. The property close to the beach, has a market nearby and the promenade area is close by. The triple room was nice, clean, with air conditioner and a small kitchen area, with a stove a table and some kitchen utensils. There was also a small balcony. The host was very welcoming 😊.
