The home was nothing short of perfect. Designed beautifully with the most amazing outdoor entertainment and pool area. Multiple outdoor seating areas, bar fridge, outdoor TV, heaps of pool toys, mini golf putting, playground area for kids, and outdoor shower - perfect!! Inside, there wasn't a single thing we needed that the house didn't have. An abundance of plates/cups/cutlery/glasses/stubby holders/tea towels/garbage bags...you name it, it was there. The beds were super comfortable and all rooms had air conditioning. The upstairs area was kitted out to sleep up to 6 kids with the coolest kids zone, equipped with PS4, games, books and toys. The house was spotlessly clean and presented like a show home. It's set slightly of the beaten track meaning no noisy backpackers or traffic noise. You could technically walk to Horseshoe Bay as it's about 30 min walk, but easier by car. To top the experience off, there was a sleepy, dozy Koala living in the tree across from the house - how good!! Can't fault anything about this property and can't wait to come back.

Pet friendly family house is like a home away from home. We loved the swimming pool and pool toys provided. House is roomy and bedrooms are large and comfortable.

Lovely log-cabin style home with room to move! Our family of 4 had a lovely few days at this property on magnificent “Maggie island”. Would highly recommend, photos don’t do the place justice.

I have not stayed at Picnic Bay on Magnetic Island before & so after this experience, I will certainly go back to that part of the island. OK. Moreover Roxanne was terrific host. Provided you have a car or bike, then the position is terrific.
