We loved everything! The owner Felix is a wonderful person, Lucinha takes care of breakfast and the room, making us feel at home. The maintenance man was very helpful, the dogs are very friendly, at the same time making us feel safe. Our stay was fantastic and we are looking forward to going back. Canavieiras is a real secret in Bahia and Pousada Marlin Azul the perfect option to stay! Nice, welcoming owners, nice garden with pool, great breakfast. Only 2 blocks from the 20 km long, almost unspoiled beach. And you can continue to Porto Seguro by boat to Belmonte, a very scenic river ride through the jungle. Highly recommended if you wanna stay off the beaten track in a beautiful place!

It's indeed a pretty house with a big pool in a lovely garden. Swiss born Jürg and his wife Jane are the best hosts ever, very welcoming, generous.and helpfull. Jürg gave me loads of great tips also beyond Canavieiras. The best: take the boat from Belmonte to Canavieiras.
