The two hosts made us feel so welcome, we immediately felt like members of the family. Always available if we needed anything and super open to talk to us/recommend things. Their story with Montague Rose Inn is very inspiring, the place is beautiful and perfectly located. We hadn't even left that we wanted to book to come back during the summer. We had a great three day stay at Captain Dan's modern cottage. the cottage was terrific in all aspects: spacious, bright, quiet, well equipped, good location, keypad entry, lovely deck and garden. Parking was on site, wifi was strong, shower had good pressure, washer and dryer came in very handy. Comfortable beds, quality linens, plentiful towels, immaculately clean. Captain Dan was a good communicator which made everything very easy. Highly Recommended.

We had planned on staying here for a few nights. This turned out to be a good idea as the weather was terrible; we were hit with a snow storm we hadn't expected. The Algonquin Resort was the perfect place to spend one of our days inside by the fire, reading. The room was comfortable, the staff was helpful, the food and drinks were great.

the property is very charming. we rented a room with the king bed and view of the water. The rooms were extremely clean and comfortable. I felt like I was home.
