Amazing staff, always ready to help and keep smiling. Would love to go back again, just because of rhe place, the hotel and the staff!! The breakfast was in general good, but I usually get bored of eating the same stuff everyday. So a bit of variety to add will be a bonus.

    There is a fabulous restaurant downstairs in the hotel. It is a nice old building which is very Swiss and we appreciated that aspect. The room was clean and comfortable. We had a balcony with seating to enjoy right above the creek. We didn't stay in Lauenen that long as we were heading out the next day on a hiking trip but the hotel was located in a place where it was easy to walk to or catch the bus to other locations nearby. It was easy to take the bus from the Gstaad train station to the hotel.

    The staff are very friendly. Location was near a stream which was very nice to hear in the background. The views of the mountains were spectacular. Overall I got value for my money. Comfy room, great location, good food ( had lunch on terrace ), and outstanding service. Would recommend highly. Will be back :)

    Very nice staff and amazing breakfast spread. We booked a room with shared bathroom but they upgraded us to their best room since it's vacation time for them and less number of guests. They view from the balcony of the room is Amazing. The hotel feels like a cozy, antique decorated home. Very authentic swiss vibe in a small cute village. Remote location but that's the charm of this place.

    The property was quaint and traditional. The food in the restaurant was very good. The location was good, close to Gstaad for skiers and plenty of trails for hikers.

    The Hotel delivers what is proposed. Nice for one night stay. The breakfast was delicious and the staff are super symphatic. The view from the room is beautiful, and the location is also a good advantage.
