Absolutely fantastic stay at this charming hotel!The location couldn’t be better—just 5mins walk way from the gondola,making it incredibly convenient for hitting the slopes every morning. The breakfast was a highlight, with delicious fresh bread, local cheeses, and homemade jams—a perfect start to the day. What truly stood out was the warm and efficient service. Though the team is small, they were exceptionally attentive and made me feel right at home. Their genuine hospitality added a special touch to our stay. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a cozy, well-located ski retreat!Especially thanks to Elaine.^•^

The BEST hotel I’ve stayed at by far. From check in to check out, everything was perfect. The staff were amazing and genuinely cared about my stay. Breakfast was fantastic. The room was spacious, the bed was so comfy and the view was incredible. I treated myself to spa time and a massage and I am SO glad I did. Everything was perfect, and leaving was deeply sad.

Wonderful small boutique style apart hotel, I can't say enough good things about it: very professional and kind staff with spot on recommendations for anything you may need. The apartment had a magnificent view of the Matterhorn and was very large, comfortable, well decorated and outfitted with high end fixtures and appliances. Very comfortable beds, spotlessly clean and the breakfast was really good too with variety of fresh fruit, vegetables and quality cold cuts. Would definitely visit again and recommend to others

    The hotel is absolutely beautiful with an amazing view of the Matterhorn and also in a great location. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was so nice and comfortable, you even get a new delicious little treat each day which is a nice touch. The smell, the spa/pool, breakfast, dinners, ambiance and pet friendly made this hotel a must for our family. We will continue to make this hotel a yearly visit for our family trip to zermatt.

    We loved this spacious apartment. It was furnished comfortably with all necessities at hand. The beds were big and comfortable, the living space generous and the whole apartment clean. To get there we walked 10 minutes from the train station. Even though it's located at the beginning of the town, there are many restaurants nearby to pick from and hiking trails are close by. We travelled with our dog, and at the apartment, we found a dog bed and bowls, which was very kind. I would stay there again when visiting Zermatt.

    All in all, a great hotel. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant and it was very good. Breakfast was also excellent with a lot of choice. The room decor was fun and comfortable and the hotel staff was friendly and had even prepared a dog bed and bowls for our dog. The location is convenient if you want to go up the mountain to hike. The sauna and pools can also be recommended, we took advantage of them frequently during our stay.

    The Alpina is a lovely find in the heart of Zermatt; old school charm, nice sized room with a balcony and it is pet friendly. We stayed with our dog and were brought a blanket and bowls for his use. The Alpina is an older building, and breakfast, which is in the next-door sister hotel, Schaller's Tannenhof, is varied and delicious. The staff are very friendly. We loved our stay.
