    The hotel is a small place on the outskirts of Villavieja. The location is good for visiting the Tatacoa Desert. The hotel offered us a guide to take us there and it was really reasonably priced and the guide was excellent. The staff was really nice and helpful and going out of their way to accommodate us at any time. While there was no air-conditioning in our room, a fan was provided. Hotel dog, Estrella, was super cute too.

    John is by far the most friendly host we’ve ever met. He responds quick, is very kind and helps to make the best out of your trip in Tatacoa. The dinner and breakfast are very tasty, the location in the desert is magic and his 2 dogs are lovely as well. In addition to this, he can arrange a guide for both the red and the grey desert and this guide is very good as well, definately don’t skip the grey part of the desert, it’s beautiful and if you are lucky like us, you can spot a lot of animals! We give John a 10+!

    Seniora is very nice lady. She prepared the breakfast for the time I asked. Rooms are clean and wifi works good. The garden / patio is unreal (so beautiful!). Also the cutest dog and cats there <3

    The family running this property were friendly and welcoming. There is a great little troup of dogs and cats that are an absolute joy. The setting was amazing and it really feels like your glamping out in a desert. Sleeping in the small shack through a thunderstorm was quite surreal and enjoyable.
