Great staff all around - we were in contact with three different receptionists, and all were just awesome. On the checkout day, we were offered an opportunity to have breakfast cooked for us earlier than usual because we were leaving before the breakfast opens. I've never experienced it anywhere else. Location is great - right at the city square where all fine dining is. The rooms are relatively basic (it is a historical building), but they are clean, serviced daily, and fresh water delivered every day, so you feel comfy and cozy. Breakfast included, and it is a nice breakfast - with fresh crepes, pies and pastry in addition to standard items. Very nice stay, will come back again.

This was my third stay here, therefore I just can repeat... ;-) I have been traveling in the Czech Republic for many years and I must have stayed in around 100 different guesthouses and hotels. From the smallest family pension in the countryside to large 4-star hotels in Prague. And the Penzion v Chaloupce was one of my very best experiences ever! :D Beautiful, lovely decorated house in green residential area and a big and very clean room, very big shower! Very friendly owners, SUPER breakfast with fresh and high quality food from a large selection!!! :D Well working WiFi, free parking on secure ground. When i entered the room, i geniuenly saw that everything in the room had been placed with the goal of making me feel comfortable and valuable. Also the size of the room was very good compared to the price! Towels,plates,cups.. everything was really clean. Stuff were really nice and helpful. I suggest this place from the bottom of my heart to those that want to visit Hradec Kralove!
