    Breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of choices. Service was excellent. Desk clerks were especially helpful and friendly. Location was great. Parking was convenient. Shower was easy to use, and one could control the temperature without much effort. Restaurant on site was excellent. The historical section of Detmold was across the street. Would stay here again.

    The room was okay, clean and the location is approx. 20 minutes by foot from the hotel to the city center/ "castle". The breakfast was really good, they had a variety of things to offer, including making your own waffle.
